Our semi-automatic waste tire recycling plant is a cost-effective solution for tire recycling. It is suitable for processing various types of tires with a diameter of up to 1200mm. Through multiple stages such as tire cutting, steel wire separation, crushing, magnetic separation, and fiber separation, the line can steadily produce rubber granules sized 1–5mm or rubber powder ranging from 10 to 40 mesh, with a finished product purity of up to 99%.
The entire production line features a flexible design and moderate space requirements, making it especially suitable for small to medium-sized recycling businesses or initial investment projects.
We can tailor the recycling solution based on customers’ raw material types, capacity requirements, and finished product applications, helping clients achieve higher recycling efficiency and better investment returns.
Input Materials
- Passenger Car Tires
- Truck Tires
- Light-duty OTR Tires
- Other used tyres with a diameter of less than 1200 mm
Tyres often require some of the impurities (e.g., silt, etc.) already removed to enhance the purity and productivity of the final rubber powder.
Final Products
- Rubber Granules
Grain size range: about 1-5mm, suitable for sports fields, mats, artificial turf infill, and other fields.
- Rubber Powder
Fineness range: 10-40 mesh, widely used in recycled rubber production, rubber products manufacturing, asphalt modification, and other industries.
- Steel Wire
The steel wire separated from the beads and carcasses can be recycled for steel smelting or sold directly.
- Fiber
Separated by sorting equipment, they can be collected separately or disposed of on demand.
What Equipment is Included in the Semi-automatic Waste Tire Recycling Plant?
A typical semi-automatic waste tire recycling plant usually consists of:
- Tire Sidewall Cutting Machine: Remove the sidewall of the tyre containing the rim.
- Tire Strip Cutter: The bead-removed tyre is cut into rubber strips of a certain width.
- Tire Block Cutter: Further cut the rubber strip into small pieces.
- Steel Wire Separator: Specializes in handling cut-off beads, separating the rubber from the steel.
- Rubber Crusher System: Includes grinding, screening and magnetic separation systems.
- Fiber Separator: Separate impurities such as nylon fibres trapped in rubber granules to further improve the purity of the finished product.
For different sizes of tyres (e.g., car tyres, truck tyres, engineering tyres), we can provide customized configurations.

Features of Semi-automatic Rubber Powder Production Line
- Flexible capacity range: from a few tonnes to tens of tonnes per day;
- Low labour requirements: the entire waste tire recycling plant usually requires only 2-3 operators;
- Wide range of raw materials: suitable for all kinds of waste tyres up to 1200mm in diameter;
- High purity output: The purity of the finished rubber granules or powder can be as high as 99% after multiple separation and screening processes;
- Customized finished product particle sizes: from rubber chips to fine powder;
- Cost-effective: lower investment compared to fully automated lines;
