Recently, we received a production video from a customer in Zambia who purchased our paper egg tray machine. The video shows the equipment operating at the customer’s factory after the production line was put into use.
For this project, the customer chose a compact egg tray production setup consisting of a pulping machine, egg tray forming machine, and drying room. The three stages work together to complete the basic production process from waste paper to finished egg trays.
The main forming machine is a 3×1 model, with a production capacity of approximately 1000–1500 pcs/h.
What Happens Before the Egg Trays Are Formed?
Before the forming stage, waste paper needs to be prepared as pulp. The customer uses the машина для получения древесной массы to break down the paper and mix it with water, producing pulp suitable for the next stage.
The prepared pulp is then supplied to the forming machine. At this point, the pulp is shaped according to the egg tray mold, producing wet egg trays.
This preparation stage is important because the condition of the pulp directly affects the forming process and the appearance of the finished trays.
Forming Egg Trays with the 3×1 Machine
The egg tray forming machine is the main production equipment in this project.
The 3×1 paper egg tray machine is designed with three molds on one working board. During operation, pulp is formed into egg trays through the molding process.
With an output of around 1000–1500 pieces per hour, this machine configuration is suitable for customers who do not require a large industrial-scale production capacity but still need regular egg tray production.
The customer’s feedback video gives a direct view of the machine working at the factory rather than only showing the equipment before installation.
Drying the Freshly Formed Trays
The egg trays coming out of the forming process still contain moisture, so they need to be dried before being collected as finished products.
In this Zambia project, a drying room is included in the production setup. The wet trays are transferred to the drying area, where moisture is removed before the finished trays are stored or prepared for further use.
Therefore, the customer’s paper egg tray machine covers the three basic stages needed for this production process: pulp preparation, tray forming, and drying.
Customer Feedback from the Factory
We value customer feedback after a machine is put into operation because it allows us to see how the paper egg tray machine performs under actual working conditions.
The video sent by our Zambia customer shows the production equipment running at the factory. It also provides a practical reference for customers who are considering a similar paper egg tray production setup.

A Practical Setup for Paper Egg Tray Production
