The rubber powder making machine in this project was used to help a Canadian customer process waste tires. The customer is primarily engaged in tire recycling and rubber product manufacturing, aiming to convert waste tires with a diameter of less than 1200 mm into rubber powder for further production of rubber floor tiles.
To meet this requirement, the customer needed a stable and efficient complete solution covering both tire pretreatment and fine rubber powder processing. Additionally, our company can provide a rubber floor tile forming machine to assist the customer in completing the full production process from raw material to finished product.
Customer Requirements
After detailed communication, we clearly understood the customer’s key needs:
- Raw material: Waste tires ≤1200 mm (passenger car and truck tires)

Customized Solution Overview
The complete solution includes two main stages: pretreatment and automatic tire processing line.
1. Pretreatment Stage
Before entering the automatic production line, the tires are preprocessed to improve efficiency and protect downstream equipment.
Main equipment:
- Bead cutting & tire cutting integrated machine: Used to cut off the tire bead and segment the tire into manageable sizes.
- Steel ring separator: Separates steel wires from the tire bead, reducing wear on subsequent machines and improving final rubber purity.


This stage ensures that the material is properly prepared for the next step.
2. Fully Automatic Rubber Powder Production Line
After pretreatment, the material enters the automatic tire recycling line:
Process flow:
Tire Shredder: Breaks tires into smaller rubber blocks.
Rubber powder making machine (grinding system)
Includes:
- Grinding: Reduces rubber into smaller particles
- Screening: Controls particle size
- Magnetic separation: Removes remaining steel
Fiber separator: Effectively separates nylon fiber from rubber, ensuring cleaner final rubber powder.
Through this process, the system produces rubber powder suitable for manufacturing rubber floor tiles.

The rubber powder produced is used to manufacture rubber floor tiles, which are widely applied in:
