Il est principalement compos\u00e9 d'une mangeoire, d'un convoyeur \u00e0 vis et d'une extrudeuse. Il se compose d'une paire de vis rotatives et d'un cylindre pr\u00e9chauff\u00e9 qui peuvent chauffer, plastifier et extruder en douceur le plastique pour former le mat\u00e9riau granulaire souhait\u00e9. L'extrudeuse est le composant phare d'un granulateur plastique \u00e0 basse vitesse.
